i agree - or at least a lift kit and some off-road style tires. You could probably go most places with just some sand-friendly tires.
But I can't imagine climbing those ladders, getting up on that roof and trying to lower down a kayak - or put one up. How do you do it? - DavyddExplorerThat special edition Travato desperately begs for 4x4 which is otherwise missing to complete its mission as an active B.
Sprinters have traditionally put glass on the sides to give an illusion of total windows. It seems to work for the most part. - wincrasher65ExplorerI'm sure the computer display doesn't do either of these reds justice. From my eyes, it looks like the Roadtrek is more of a Ruby with maybe some metallic in it. The Travato looks to be more of an enamel look to it.
Here's a video of the special edition they did for a show. Resolution is a bit rough.

I'm not really sure I care for the black area on the sides - I guess they want it to look like windows, but it probably comes across as cheesy in person. - Arizona_KidExplorerDon't want to hi-jack the thread to a Rt one, but here is the Red one, and the Red Travato.
- DavyddExplorerI don't know what colors the Promaster has but they obviously have red. Sprinter comes in 24 stock colors. Sprinter has Flame Red (I think what we are discussing here), Jupiter Red which appears slightly less intense than Flame Red, and Velvet Red, the wine maroon red I think you are talking about bobojay5.
- bobojay5ExplorerAnyone seen the new wine red color that Roadrtrek is building with a Sprinter? It's a stunner. Supposed?? to be a one off at this time. Also has bamboo wood trim out in it
- eripExplorerI don't quite see how the LP could be 16 gallons.. my 2014 holds 4.5 gallons of propane (which is 80% of 6 gal which sounds correct). Its probably typos since the initial specs on the winnebago site last year had typos. I am glad i got a sandstone color while they had it. Everywhere i go people seem to really like the RV and comment on the color.
- DavyddExplorerRed could be the new hot color. There are other companies building red Bs I think. We could all end up Fire Chiefs. That's the thought that crosses my mind when I think about it. :)
Next up: Canary Yellow. :D - wincrasher65ExplorerYes.
Looks like the tanks sizes are moving around a bit too.
The Black went from 11 to 15 gallons.
The Gray went from 14 to 11.
Fresh went from 22 to 23.
LP went from 6 to 16.
These could be typos - they are only on one web page. Some don't really make any sense if you ask me. My data sheet that came with my 2015 van says lp is 16 gallons. I haven't refilled it yet, so I can't test out if it's 6 or 16. Hard to tell looking at it under the van. I probably should measure my tanks this weekend and see what I actually have. If think it's unlikely that you'd tool up and build something for just a few months, and then make radical changes. Especially, when by all reports, sales are good.
Maybe they swapped the black and grey tanks? So the black is on a macerator, and the grey is on gravity?? - Jimmy_DickensExplorerI don't think it had the MCD blackout shades before did it.
