News flash: Engine manufacturers generally do not make filters. They outsource them. The filters that fit your specific vehicle may come from the manufacturer in a box that says CAT or Cummins, but thats just the box, not what is inside it. In general, if you avoid big box retail stores that sell retail oriented products like Frxm (red/orange box) and buy OEM products like Mann, Mahle, Hengst, Wix, Bosch, Motorcraft, etc., you'll be fine and probably save some money over the parts that come in the factory box.
