Charging motorhome batteries with a solar trickle charger

We have a 31' 2000 Fleetwood Class C motorhome. We put a cover over it to store it over the winter, but that has covered our built-in solar charger. As a result, all of the batteries are dying. We h...

i was going to use just a simple 110vcoil 30A relay across the mains coming in, the two normally open contacts connect the two positive terminals together of the batterys. I know when the engine is running it will charge both batterys as well.
