Charging observation/question

Brought our MH home to charge and go through everything. I noticed the CO detector was beeping, as it does when the house batteries are discharged. It continued to alert into the next day, even though it was plugged into shore power. I realized the batteries were in "storage" mode so I clicked to "use". I let it charge overnight again and now no more alert from the CO detector. This leads me to the question, do the house batteries not take a charge when in "storage mode"?
  • Does your owner's manual not address this?

Gosh, I guess we might as well just shut down the Forum completely and have a pop-up that says, "Do a search," or "Look in your owner's manual," whenever anyone asks a reasonable question.
  • "storage mode" is likely a disconnect for the batteries. If so, no, they won't charge as they will be disconnected. By turning storage mode off, you reconnected them and allowed them to charge.
