I think you have that backward.
The expensive one is the one that failed.
Replacement will last a lifetime and prove lower cost.

2ga is fine for a gas engine MH. 00 would be appropriate for a Cummins or my Cat C-7.

Get "2 ought" ( 00 size) welding wire and have them crimp the proper ends on for you. Welding wire is VERY flexible...

It is just a starter cable for motor vehicles.

Good. Now that you're fixed I can criticize you!! :)

You need to inspect those things now and then. AGM batteries won't corrode cables. And for the future, carry spare wires/cables, connectors, crimpers. Never know when needed, and often it's game over until it's fixed.

Marine shops Are great!
You can fab your own in any gauge on the spot!

Thanks to all. I'm up in the mountains and closest auto store is 40 minutes. Made some calls, even Fleetwood was stumped for replacement part or gauge, escalated. Meantime I found a marine shop, and although expensive, they made me one bad ass cable even bigger. This one won't break! A couple of washers and back in business. Thanks for the quick responses. Nice to know there is help out there when it's needed.

Tractor Supply. Closest to Tampa Bay is in Bradenton.

Standard auto parts store cables are #4 or #2 SAE wire. Get the #2.
