You can plan on getting down into first gear on 6% or greater grades. That means you'll be doing about 22 to 25MPH. You'll be able to feed the squirrels as they run alongside your Class C.
It's actually not too bad... Just don't pay attention to the other RVs that will be passing you at 65 to 70 MPH.
We traveled for 16 years with a 350 v8 powering our 25 foot RV.
By the way we averaged 6 MPG.
