What a great subject to start a big fight with.. Grin.. Chevy gets the best fuel milage. Has more foot room and you should hear very little if any engine noise. Also handle and ride better if you like a softer ride.
Ford is geared lower. Turns more revs so more engine noise. Has a Firm ride. Has handling problems but can be fixed if it has not. There are lots of post on this site on the subject.
The main reason you see fewer Chevys is they Cost $1500 to $3500 more than Fords and most RVs are built on spec not custom order. So building on a Ford is just good business.. Many companys listed the Chevys in with the extra,s.
