Choices for tire replacemnt

I'm going to get 6 new tires, thanks to the Michelin Tire recall. I understand there are three possible choices. Need your experience in the decision.

The Michelin M/S2 RRE

The Michelin AT2LREDT

Uniroyal SLARHD/HLRETL

This is the vehicle 1994 Callista Cove 29 foot Class C on a E350 chassis

Use is, for the most part hauling families on long trips, with very little camping involved. Lightly loaded most of the time. The drive and the ride are top priority. With the Michelin LTX M/S LT225/75R16, load range E, tires that are being replaced, the drive and ride are great.

One poster noted with the M/S2 replacement tires his camper was a "squirming mess." Others say they are great. Haven't found anything on the other two tire choices. Comments, suggestions welcomed. Thanks
  • Appreciate the reply. I was leaning toward the M/S2 for ride and appreciation of Michelin's stepping up to recall issue. Thanks
  • Stay with Michelin. I had the Michelin LTX M/S 2's on my truck for 2+ years and now have them on our Class C. They give a smooth quite ride and are rated for 70,000 miles of tread life. Nothing "squirmy" whatsoever about them just get them properly balanced and run at the appropriate pressure for the load. :C

There's a thread here showing the tread pattern of the tires offered. Personally, I'd eliminate the Uniroyal and choose between the Michelins. Uniroyal if probably a fine tire, but the Michelin name needs no introduction anywhere in the World. Unless you actually Know that you will Need a tread offering extra traction, go with the LTX M/S/2. The less aggressive the tread, the quieter it will run, and the straighter it will track.
Also, your E350 can achieve max weight using Load Range "D" (LRD or LR-D) tires. Replacing with Load Range "E" will give you a margin of capacity and durability.
  • Dance with who brung ya.
Stay with the Michelin's as they have really been very pro consumer on this VOLUNTARY recall so reward their good customer relations by keeping Michelin's on your vehicle. The which one question I cannot help you with
  • I know that you do not have this tire listed but we have been very pleased with Yokohama Geolandar A/T-S
