Thank you for offering some perfectly good explanations for the puzzling disappearing windows. Perhaps as we change our camping habits from a quick week or less in one location to longer visits we change our RV needs to something more akin to a house instead of a tent. But I figure we'll drive our '95 Tiffin Allegro until it falls apart around us. A little TLC here and a good swift kick there and it keeps on motoring with windows all around, each big enough to pass for that big screen TV back home. Watching my DW while she marvels at seeing a small herd of deer pass through our campsite as we lay in bed peering through our huge bedroom window . . . or watching the blue jay that re-takes our campsite everytime we go inside . . . we love our windows . . . we can live without the slides at least for now.
