I agree with the comments that the newer the rig, the fewer the windows, and in my opinion, that's a shame. One of the perks of our dual sofa rig, is that there are plenty of windows. There is a large window over each sofa, plus a large window over the dinette. Coupled with the large windshield, everyone gets a great view while travelling. We can point things out to the kids and they get to see them. And when we're parked, we also get a great view of our surroundings.
Even in the bedroom, there are decent sized windows on opposite sides of the rig (important for air circulation).
On the down side, in some campgrounds, the front of the rig tends to get pretty bright in the morning as the sun rises above the trees, even with the day/night shades pulled down. But it really hasn't been a huge deal. I'll take the larger windows any day. :)
Hopefully, like most trends, this will be cyclical, and in a few years people will start asking the manufacturer's for them again.
