Ok, so do the first test that I described. If you pull the air cleaner and turn the key on, do you hear the injectors click? Do you see fuel spray momentarily? (Answer these 2 questions separately as it decides the next step)
Also, while others may be suggesting reasonable possibilities, it is best to do the steps in a specific order, that way the correct conclusions can be drawn and we don't jump to the wrong conclusions. The sensors do not matter at this point in the test. Just testing the ECM and its response first. I know you stated you did not smell fuel, but I still want to know if the injectors click when the key is first turned on, before cranking. You may or may not be able to hear the pump, depending on where it is mounted.
