It's actually a nice feature, just keep the edge sealed as that is what holds the edge down. Beats the heck out of EDPM or TPO.
I'm thinking thats because most don't know about it. You'd be surprised how many PMs I get thanking me for the insight on the design. :W
If you're OK with it great - it was your money. I think many (most?) people, if they knew prior to purchase, might take another look before signing the papers.
My posts are not intended to bash, they're intended to inform. It's up to the buyer to use this information as they see fit.
I do find it odd/strange/good? that Winnie recently brought some back in so they could Eternabond the roofs in an effort to correct this problem. I'm a big fan of Eternabond but the fact that a builder is taping their roof down speaks volumes
in my opinion.
