^^^^ Agreed! Considering the size/weight of your current Class A rig, going very far off unimproved/graded roads WILL eventually be treacherous. If not so getting in, then getting out after some adverse weather might be an issue.
If you like off road travel/camping, going with some larger (22.5") wider wheels (if you don't already have them) will give you some more ground clearance. Consider bringing a trailer (double axle preferred) loaded with the ATV of your choice along with extra water/fuel storage tanks. Satellite phone?
IMO, with a Class A, you shouldn't even consider going anywhere a skid plate might be necessary. The rear overhang/swing is also an issue. Getting stuck in the boonies is EXPENSIVE!
