- bullydogs1ExplorerCheck out bear creek...the lower section with the big pull thru sites..all of 8 minutes away...and they have a box right on the post, with an UHF remote..worked fine...
- rgatijnet1Explorer IIIWe used the French Broad River Campground which, as the name implies, is right on the French Broad River. Since we have a rear living room class A, we were able to back right up to the river and had a great view out our rear windows. This is right next to a nice public park where you can hike along the river. It is a quick drive to the Biltmore and other parts of Asheville.
- dverstraExplorerMama Gerties is another good spot
- prstlkExplorerThis place will take your breath away no matter where the RV is. Go early and enjoy it all.

- wildtoadExplorer IIX2 on Campfire. Good people.
- Mr_Mark1ExplorerAR, last year, we stayed at Campfire Lodgings in Asheville (rated at www.RVParkReviews.com).
The park sits on top of a mountain with wonderful views from most of the sites (we were in a wooded area, no distant view). The park is a little tight but we fit our '08 42 ft. Dynasty up there just fine, just had to be careful. Their driveway is a little daunting as it's steep and twisty. Right before you come up to the entrance kiosk, there is a tight steep left turn. We made it.
The only thing I don't care for (several parks are doing this), they give you a cable box to attach to your TV. We could not get it to work so did without.
Good luck,
MM.
