Daveinet: Thank you for searching for the tandem wheelchair idea you had. My wife and I talked about it and we want to be prepared for the possibility of having grandchildren along during the summer. That is why we were thinking 4 person back to back golf cart. Also, those golf carts rear seat unfolds to a platform which could allow for getting firewood in the CG. So we want to stick with the 4 passenger golf cart concept. That cricket golf cart sounds the best so far. With all that weight on the hitch (elevated platform, golf cart and toad) I am thinking tandem axle now on MH plus 15K hitch. I believe Spartan is only chassis with 15K hitch, but I read a persons chassis review that speaks very highly of the Roadmaster chassis. The plot thickens.
