Class A fuel mileage

We have been trying to decide whether to purchase a used Class A Diesel motorhome. We have been looking at a 2000 Itasca Horizon model 360B. It is a 35' with a 275 HP Cummins 5.9. Our question is what kind of fuel mileage can we expect. We realize that driving conditions, weather, etc. will make a difference so we are just looking for a average.

    I have a 99 model 38' holiday rambler endeavor with the same engine as the one you're looking at.

    It's a great engine and can get pretty good mileage. Mine gets 9-10 on the flats pulling a trailer. It gets a little better than 7 pulling a toad through the steep mountains of northern AZ at full throttle most of the time.
