Class A Tires

Next year we will be changing out the tires on our Winnebago (1st time). I usually buy my tires at Sam's Club for cost and availability of Clubs around the USA should I have an issue (they have an excellent road hazard warranty which I have used on a few occasions while traveling). But, they do not sell Motorhome Tires.

I was considering buying at Camping World given that there are Camping World locations throughout the USA where any warranty claim could be honored (I also have Good Sams towing service).

Has anyone had tires installed at Camping World that would like to share their experiences? I would be having the tires installed at the Roanoke, VA location.

Alternately, Pilot/Flying J sells tires as will so maybe that would be a good choice since they are also located throughout the USA. Anyone purchase RV tires at Pilot Service Centers?

    Camping world has lots of fees.like shipping, rags an more. Try Goodyear tire store

    I'd go to a commercial tire shop that specializes in the big tires and stay away from the RV dealers. At the dealer I work at we outsource the tire changes to one of the commercial shops near us. Seems to me you would get a better deal at the tire shop.

    You might check online for the tires you want and have them drop shipped to a tire store that you know will mount them for you.

    Check the FMCA michilen tire program and compare with other options. You may well find it beats every other source you have. And if so worth joining FMCA if you not already a member

    Go to a commercial tire dealer thad works with bigger rig tires. They know a lot more abouthow to mount and handle large tires. I would never consider letting CW touch my tires.

    Ok, thanks for the feedback. There is a Pilot Flying J Rig service center nearby. Would there be benefit buying from Pilot for service after the sale? Or should I use a local mom and pop truck tire shop?

    The warranty on your tires are from the front. Not the dealer. So it doesn't matter where you purchase.

    Had a 5'ver and wanted real tires not the china bombs that came with it. I was shopping Goodyear G-614's and the best price I got was from my local mechanic. He was hundreds cheaper than others and included install and balance. Talk to you local guys, they need the business!
