While you have been given some good information, unless I missed it, no one has mentioned one VERY IMPORTANT piece of information. That would be the Gross Combined Weight Rating (GCWR) for your proposed coach. You may have a hitch rating of 5000 or 10,000 lbs but you may be exceeding the GCWR for the coach at 3000 lbs. Just because you have rated hitch capacity it DOES NOT mean that you have that amount of towing capacity.
