If you end up deciding a Class B is for you, I highly recommend checking with
Van City RV in St. Louis before buying. They have a good reputation on this forum and we saved $3K for exactly the same van by buying from them. Once we decided on an LTV, they beat the NC LTV dealer's (who is 3 hours from where we live) best price by that much.
We made the deal over the phone and when we went to St. Louis to pick it up there were no surprises, price was as agreed to and no add ons. They were great to deal with. And they paid for the flight to St. Louis for my wife and I to pick it up and met us at the airport. We have no connection to them and get no benefit from recommending them.
Almost everything in an RV that is likely to fail is warranted by someone else anyway, so not having a dealer close has never been a problem with us. There was never an issue with the LTV conversion that would have required an LTV dealer visit. And Van City handles arguably three of the highest quality conversion companies.
