My thinking is to go with what you like and can afford. The Ford/GM chassis units are probably the most common. Although, we are seeing a lot of M-B units on our trips.
Check into factory service availability in your area. Just because there is a dealer just down the road, don't bet on them taking your RV chassis in for repair or even service. For example, we live in area of about 1M people. The closest GM dealership that will work on our RV chassis is 108 miles away.

Thanks for taking the time to give your feedback. I do understand the computers change in AUTO. I am old school and think taking care of stuff from a roadside. I know about 24/7-tow and have the option, But can safe time if I can do it myself. NO way will I ever own another GM for any reason. FORD YES Thanks for taking the time.
