Not too many parking spaces are 24 feet long; more typical is around 20 feet, though it does vary a good bit from place to place. At least around here, a 24 foot RV--unless one could overhang a median or something--would usually require two spaces end-to-end, just as a longer one does. Maybe in Texas, the land of the crew cab pickup truck, there would be more longer spaces.
