But the Sprinter has more oil related problems than the Ford V10 had with plugs popping out. Ford's problem was solved a few years ago, while MB's engine problems continue to this year. I understand from my German friends MB is putting inline engines in the 2018 models. And, that should solve their problems.
Personally, I don't like all the new emissions on the diesels and would rather pay $2/gal for gasoline than $3/gal for diesel + DEF
