Interesting. I just took our Ford E350 to a Ford dealer for the first time because Ford has been bugging me to do this recall on our 14 year old MH that has only been in a garage once for brake work in the ten years we’ve had it.

This was entirely free, including coffee.
We live in a town of 1000 with no Ford dealer. There is a very popular repair place that can do most anything. I chose it for our Toyota minivan’s timing chain and waterpump replacement because the dealer is 100 km away. I’ll be going there with the Ford when it needs work, too. Probably spark plugs next winter. I’m a little afraid to replace them myself because there are problems with some Triton engine spark plugs, though probably not ours.
a powertrain calibration flaw is present that may prevent the Catalyst Monitor from achieving a “Ready” condition. There is no perceivable impact on vehicle operation. However, the vehicle may not be able to complete emissions certification requirements in some states. Without completed emissions certification, certain states may not renew vehicle registrations.
