IMHO, the price of a "C" is a problem. Too many of them have become too expensive for the younger families who would be most likely to use them. DH and I went pricing a new motorhome and found there were far more quality used "A"s available than "C"s and a new C just cost too much compared to what we could get for a 'gently used' A! We got a 4 year old A with double slides, a king sized bed and only 8,000 miles on it for less than $50,000!!! Why buy a C - when we would only use the sleeping area above the cab when our grandkids joined us?
Excellent point. It does seem that you get "more for your money" with a Class A. I have never driven a Class A so I cannot compare the handling etc. but I don't think there is much difference in gas mileage for gasoline engines between the two. I like our Class C but would like to have more comfortable seating etc.
