For used B+ with good handling, affordable price, and lots of room inside, check out a 2004 or newer BT Cruiser 22' or 23'.
You can find these with low mileage and in good condition in the low 20k price range. Well built, and available on both the Ford and Chevy chassis.
Plenty of headroom inside, full size fridge, dry bath with shower, kitchen with oven, cooktop, microwave, etc. Look for one with couch and dinette, as these give you at least two sleeping positions.
