Class C toads

We tow, a '14 Ford Focus, on a Dolly, on the dolly only because I already had the dolly from the previous car which is Not towable 4 down.

I failed to mention in my first post on this subject that my first RV was a Class B Roadtrek. Since I'm single, it seemed to fit my needs. But I'm a visitor more than a traveler. Many times I left the CG to sightsee and returned to find that my parking spot was taken. Not a problem unless the CG was now completely full. With my 'C', it stays in the CG while I explore in the Wrangler. Not only is it fun to drive, unless my 'C' and the Jeep both break at the same time, I'm not on foot.

We have an older rig that we use for family visits and outings.
It is a 2000 Class C on E450 chassis.
We tow a 2000 CRV on a Acme tow dolly.
I have to check to see it is there.
No problem pulling or stopping at all.

I have two Toads, 2009 Lincoln MKX and 2005 Honda CRV Both have Airforce One Brake systems And every once and a while a 2011 Vespa 300 that rides along also. My scooter hauler can be put in front of car hitch setup so I can take both.

2012 Jeep Patriot 5 speed manual. 3100#. 4 years now.

Tends to be Daihatsu or Suzuki's here for 23-27ft long Class C's

One thing that is on my "buy eventually" list is a Jeep Wrangler. It doesn't get as much MPG as a Smart car, but with a hardtop and a security container in the back, it is decently usable, and can be used as a daily driver when not on a trip.

2013 Hyundai Elantra manual trans 4 on ground. Weighs less than 3000lbs and yes you will feel weight in tow. That is why we went for light car, the kia and hyundai aspects and rios weigh less but do not have good reviews. My 94 anger was a candidate until it weighed in at 4000lbs, but will still be towed when a truck is needed.
