Talk about bugs...try a trip to Alaska! We bought a gallon of windshield wiper fluid, added a little to a bucket of water and the bugs came off effortlessly, including from the whole front of the RV. We did it after each end of a driving day. If you let them there day after day you'll have a much harder time of it.
