- RV-1_2n-FUNExplorerSpray Nine is also good.
- OFDPOSExplorerI have used goof-off with ample success on the black streaks both on the moldings , and caulking around windows to the black streaks from the roof on the sides/back of MH etc.
I just use rags.
First damp (dripping) a small spot of the rag with goof-off now with finger press against area for it to work in , then work back and forth. Now on a clean spot of the rag get wet again with goof-off and work in one direction. Final step over again as mentioned step 2 final wipe and pretty close to new looking.
Any time using any kind of chemical on any surface do a test spot first , and always put a coat of wax on any painted surfaces you use cleaners on.. - fortytwoExplorerTilex mold and mildew remover is the best thing I've found. Even it has limits on white molding. Spray on, let set, rinse. No scrubbing needed.

Don't think the OP is talking about the roof.
"Cleaning the molding between the cab and house?"
There is a molding that protects the connection of the actual cab to the body of the coach. It goes from the floor boards up over the roof of the cab and down the other side. It is unsightly when it turns black.
Because of the nature of what it is I was warned not to just replace it which is what I was going to do.
I did find straight bleach and baking soda mixed together to make a paste and a real stiff brush gets some of it off but it takes a lot of elbow grease and a lot of time. I gave up. - ksg5000Explorer IIBlack stuff on roof is cosmetic an isn't going to harm anything. With that said - when my kids lived at home I used to put them on the roof once a year with a bucket of water and a bar of lava soap inside an thick sock. Old fashion approach but it got the roof looking near new without using chemicals that might harm the rubber roof.

I have tried everything I can think of to clean the rubber molding between the cab and the house but cant get the black stuff off. (Yes I've tried black streak cleaner) any ideas?
My first long time parking it in Florida I have the same problem. :(
I Will be real interested too if anyone knows if there IS anything to get that imbedded black mold off short of replacing or painting it.
