Coach-net plans

It's time to re-new my Coach-net roadside assistance and not sure which to go with. received my renewal from Coach-net that shows Premier for $129.50 for a yr or gold for $109.50/yr. I also received an offer from my insurance company(Overland)offering me Coach-net's Platinum Plus for $85/yr or $145 for 2 years.

Now I would think that Platinum or Platinum Plus would be better than Gold or Premier but when I call Coach-net the lady tells me that's not so. Does anyone have the Platinum and or the Plus and which is better the Premier or the Platinum.

Thank You
  • My Platinum Plus plan covers all vehicles driven by my wife or me.

Very interesting. For their price you only get 1 tow per year. If you get towed the first month you are on your own for the rest of the year.

The NEW Limited plan is the only Coachnet plan that limits towing per year.

I just read the fine print at the bottom that seemed to apply to all plans.

The applicable "fine print" at the bottom is clearly identified as applying only to the "LTD*" (Limited) plan.

  • Check the Coach-Net plan offered by your insurance company carefully. The third-party plans do not always have all of the same benefits as the direct subscriber plans. The most common difference is the third-party plan only covers one specific vehicle, where the direct plan covers all of your personal vehicles, plus any you rent or borrow.

  • The Platinum Plus plan is different from the 3 plans listed on the Coach Net home page. This is what mine looks like. Perhaps this coverage is only available through a dealer. It appears the Assist America is the only coverage I do not have on the Platinum Plus plan. This is only offered in the Premier Coach plan. I have all the other coverages offered in Coach Net's best plan.

Sign onto your online plan and check the My Benefits link (left side of page) to see what benefits you have at present. This will perhaps help you to decide what to do for renewal. It seems the renewal deal you have been offered is very good. personally I would pick the 2 year plan from your insurance company.

  • coach net should be able to supply brochures on all plans that show what they cover. if the lady sez no, go to her supervisor and up the line. should at least be available on line.
