Coachman Mirada 35BH vs FR Georgetown 364TS

I am considering these two bunk floorplan models. Anyone have an opinion on which would be wisest to purchase?
  • go with the Georgetown. We have a2013 34by and wish we didn't. Dealer no help with problems and Coachman no better. Coachman had our unit for 6 weeks to fix problems. All problems were worked on, but not up to my standards. We took My back and repaired ourself. We needed our my as we fulltime and hotel bills were getting to high.Their craftsmanship leaves much to be desired. They use a lot of fake wood, like contact paper. And talk about air leaks. Wintering in the unit was drafty.Have had to have captain chairs recovered and sofa will be next. They use fake leather. Run forest Run.
  • I see a lot of Coachmans out there. The owners all seem to be really happy with them. I don't see as many Georgetowns but again all the owners seem really happy. You asked a good question, and if you are getting paralysis by analysis flip a quarter. After you flip the quarter if you decide you want 2 out of 3, then you know the coach you wanted. But be sure to be firm on the first quarter toss as to what you are going with.

I assume you're talking new here.
Have you considered any other brands and even if you have to drop back a couple of years?
If you buy it right, you won't lose much on the way home, like you will with a new one of less quality.

Whichever one you like best. In terms of quality they are about the same. The Georgetown is probably a small step up in terms of amenities over the Mirada. You may want to check the FR forum (not sure if there is a coachman one) and see if you can get some reviews there as well as customer service.
