Coachmen Encounter

We've looked at a new Coachmen Encounter and have also found a 2011 on the Internet. I really like the layout on them but found them to be a bit above our original budget. There is a possibility that we could bite the bullet but before doing that we need to do a lot more looking and researching. Not knowing anyone who has experience with RV's is a big disadvantage but I'm counting on you folks to help us! Thanks.
  • Make an offer for less than the asking price. Most do not pay full price, but negotiate. I'd personally go for the 2011 used "if" reviews for that year coach were good and inspection didn't show any major problems. You figure that most of the bugs should have been worked out as from what I read, many new coaches have several things that will need to be fixed. You also avoid some of the depreciation of the brand new. Someday we'll be looking again also, and it will be for a newer used coach.
