Coachmen Leprechaun 319DS Question

Good morning all. I am looking at a 2015 Leprechaun. The MSRP is $114.783, the dealer price is $89.875. My question, is there still room for more discount on the dealer price? 10/15%? I have never bought a new rig. Always used, this time I want to go the new route. Trying to get a feel for pricing. So when it gets time to sit and try and make a deal, I'll have an idea where to go with my offer. I really like the floor plan on the Leprechaun 349Ds with the recliners, the slide out table outside. I believe it will work real well for the sister (the driver)and I (the vision impaired old guy) with the money.
Those of you who have bought new rigs, I would appreciate your thoughts.Thank you for your info.

  • Thanks DocP for the reply. As I have talked to a fellow rv'er today, he said I should start with a 20% discount in mind. That would put me into the low 60's with my old coach.I was wanting to stay below 70, and with what you posted I may just be able to do that.

  • I recently bought the Coachmen Leprechaun 319DS from the Cleveland RV Show, and paid $69,999. I upgraded to the recliners (instead of the standard couch) and electric fireplace, which added another $950 to the cost. Since the dealer didn't have any with these options in stock, it had to be built at the factory. I ended up with the 2016 model (which included the upgraded 7,500 pound towing hitch) at no additional cost. I've had the motorhome out one time, and was impressed with the build quality for the price.

Note: This price included the exterior camp kitchen (refrigerator, sink, table), 15000 BTU air conditioner with heat pump, exterior entertainment center (24" TV with DVD and stereo), and everything in both the "Leprechaun Banner Edition" and "Leprechaun Luxury Package" packages. It did not come with hydraulic leveling jacks, which I had put on separately.

    Good luck with your decision!
  • Go online and search everywhere for your model for sale. Find the lowest price and document it. For instance, on the first look I found a 2015 319DS for $79,899 on RVTrader. Then go to the dealer of choice and use that to negotiate.
