Heres the deal; You will get either good service or bad service from either one. Some folks swear by one and swear at the other.
Read the brochure to see exactly what you are entitled to. Seems to me most are dissatisfied because they never read the brochure and assume something is covered.
Both Coach-net and Good Sam try to find the lowest cost provider they can. This sometimes means you will be stuck by the side of the road waiting for a tow truck to come from 30 miles away when you can see a tow company right out your window.
On Long Island and surrounding areas you should not see much if any diffence in providers. I broke down on the LIE with a blowout and Good Sam had someone there pretty quick.
I have had nothing but good service from Good Sam roadside. Next time may be different as the people dispatched by either service are all independent service companies and GSRA an/or Coachnet have very minimal control over the contractor.
I am riding the GSRA horse till it drops then I will do something else but so far I am pleased
