Colorado Carefree Mirage Canapy Tear

While I was away, apparently the wind got up. When I returned, my canopy had withdrawn, but left about 3 foot from the metal housing. I extended the canopy and noticed about 2 inches from the edge had ripped about 2 ft. I don't know why it ripped, but need to replace it. I have looked online and found a replacement canopy for almost $600.00 (22ft). Do any of you know a place that might be more reasonable for a piece of cloth? It's a Sunbrella.

Well I would certainly look into getting a quote from a commercial Sunbrella awning shop. I know it is different, but our Colorado slide out covers were shot. I looked into Colorado replacements (which no longer are the same color as my original) and acrylic alternatives. Having a local Sunbrella boat and awning shop make the replacements turned out to be my best choice. I got the exact replacement fabric and the cost was lower than online offerings and much lower than the "new" Colorado replacements.

I did the removal and installation myself. But, the shop I dealt with could have easily done the removal and installation work. Most of these shops sell commercial awnings that are very similar to RV awnings.

    Just a thought.
Thank you very much for the idea.
