Is there a tow hitch which will accomadate my Blue OX tow bar and a bike Rack or just a shelf I can bungy my Bikes on.

  • Looks like an extension is needed to allow the Blue OX to be closed up and rotated after disconnecting from the Vehicle
  • You need one that clamps (and locks) to the tow bar, and, with the removal of one clip, swings away from the rear of the coach letting you have access to the engine.

  • Because I have a rear radiator, I was not excited about putting the bikes in the back. I had a welder build a receiver for the front of the coach and I use that for the bike rack. He did a very good job with it and it works great.
  • I used the 3 bike Swagman and Swagman cover. Got them both at camping World.
  • It's not shown in the picture below....but, I have a Blue OX tow bar that plugs into the receiver that is seen in the picture.....I can carry 4 bikes with this set up......

I have one I use with our Dolly. Works perfectly. Really no different than your standard hitch with the exception of one on top for the bikes. Spend more and get one rated at 5k# though. Most on Amazon are rated at 4k#
  • Looks like it will work for me -- Have you tried it? - would/'n want to destabilized the Blue OX- tow bar
