HJ that is true but there are two different models. one that vents to the out side and the other uses cold water to cool and cause the water to condense out of the exhaust.
I have one that vents to the out side and we wouldn't be with out it.
Yes it may seem to run longer but time how long the combined wash dry cycle is on your home unit. I have never sat and watched how long it runs. There are some tricks to getting your clothes to come out with out as many wrinkles read the owners manual and look on line.
When you go back to the coach look outside and see if there is a vent for the washer. I would rather have a washer than not.
