BTW: the problem with those "seen on TV" hoses apparently had to do with the fixtures on the ends being hopelessly fragile. They are now claiming to have greatly improved them. I have no idea whether they are now acceptable--just reporting.
In days-gone-by we had a couple of these same types. Worked OK the first year, second year they were a disaster! As stated above by another poster, I think the winter freeze got to them as they are stored in the camper over the winter. Next Spring when we got ready to use them, they got thrown away ... worthless!
Save time and money and stick with a conventional hose. And or anyone who may ask, I still drink from my garden hoses at home and camping. I'm just shy of 60 years old now and it hasn't killed me yet! I personally think there is more danger in drinking water from a plastic bottle bought in a store than the garden hose with water from a well in the ground!
