OK, so you bought an 8 year old used MH that was repo'd. You have to expect that there are going to be some problems with it. I mean, it probably sat for quite a long time which leads to what is called "lot rot". When we bought ours it had been sitting for a year and a half and it took us 2 years tor get everything running properly. That comes with the territory.
The purchasing dealer has offered to fix the brake problem under their warranty. So what if you need to bring it to them, it's going to be a lot less than if you have someone else do it. If it doesn't work then you are only out what it cost to take it to them.
Get over it and quit trying to micro manage something that you admittedly know very little about. There will be many more small to large issues in store for you with an 8 year old used MH. Trust me, been there and done that.

X2. The selling dealer is trying to take care of you and you are telling him he can't. If I ever had a customer come to me and try to manage a FREE repair by putting another repair shop in the mix I think I would tell him to take it some where else. The free repair is in house. All you have done at this point is tick off a dealer trying to help you.
You are in my opinion expecting too much on a 8 year old coach. Also as a previous 04 Pace Arrow owner ( bought new ) you are having the same problems I had from day one with mine.
Problems with jacks.
WH, never knew when it would light on gas but hardly ever first try.
Awning never did work right.
ABS was a joke, always problems.
Fridge would blow out flame running down the road. (they make a deflector kit for that now)
Day-night shades were always breaking.
Bottom line is your dealer wants to fix it.
LET HIM!
