Double checking is double smart! Never mind the correct 30A receptacle is usually boxed with "mobile home and 120 volt" sometimes a professional will look at it, see it's so heavy duty looking that s/he figures it's for 240.
Once you get the pictures, you'll see how the 30A runs off only ONE hot leg in the Breaker Panel. How it uses a Single Breaker. Also, there's a pic on "How to test 15/20 and 30 Amp" and you'll see the HOT (the one to the output of that SINGLE breaker) will probe to 120 between itself, Neutral (the other flat cavity) and Ground (the rounded cavity). And Neutral to Ground will probe Zero Volts. You don't want Hot and Neutral reversed! A Hot Neutral can make your whole RV HOT with 120.
The rest of us are seeing the pictures, so perhaps you need to check the Settings on whatever device you're using on RV.net
