Brochures are usually prepared by the marketing team well before specifications are finished by engineering. After that, changes are often still made during the model run. That's why brochures carry a "specifications subject to change" disclaimer.
If you have the Triton V-10 the chassis is Ford's F-53. GVWR (22,000 was the largest F-53 that era) determines what you can carry. GCWR limits what you can tow, it should have been 26,000 for all sizes of the F-53.
A 22,000 pounds GVWR is likely to limit what you can carry, whether you tow or not. A multiple-slide 37-38 foot gasser can be pretty heavy. You need to get into the motorhome, find the weight sticker (Winnebago puts it in a closet, don't know where Monaco puts it) to determine how much the thing weighs and how much of the GVWR is left for carrying stuff.
