We've been sorting through all the motorhomes in our price range on RV trader while trying to compile a list of things to look for and things to avoid.
Most generators run on the fuel the coach uses, but I've seen a couple of propane powered generators. Since they aren't common, is there an issue buying a coach with one?
What do you think about buying a rig from a manufacturer who is no longer in business? There are so many motorhomes for sale it doesn't seem like it'd be hard to avoid it, but some of them look tempting.
We had a LP Onan in the 5er which had removable LP tanks. You could very easily remove the empty tank for refueling with the TV.
You might have trouble in some locations getting the MH close enough to the LP fueling station. Also you can find diesel or gas most everywhere. Sometimes you have to search for LP stations.
Another thing is LP is the lowest BTU of the three so they burn more fuel.
IMO your better off using whatever fuel the MH uses
Thanks, you said what I was thinking.
