We found that our Sharp Carousel convention oven/microwave also slow to heat up. We found this Cuisinart Convection oven a great alternative to the larger Sharp. It has a small footprint but still large enough to bake a medium frozen pizza. It has heats evenly while baking. We use it daily. I don't remember the last time we used the oven part of our Sharp.
