You can't go wrong for the money. If they are disappointing, you have so little invested in the first place. Play with one fixture and see how it performs over time. I do recommend tacking the ends of the strip, and maybe one spot mid point with clear silicone caulk, just to assure over time, it won't loose grip to the plastic fixture.
