Yup, units of SCA in the filter will depend on TWO things:
1. Do you have "low silicate for diesel coolant with added SCA"-- if so, you MAY need to add SCA. If one of the OAT-based newer coolants, use a filter "blank" which is a filter with no chemicals.
2. Have you tested the SCA concentration in your coolant-- you do not want to underdose OR overdose the SCA. Testing allows you to add the correct amount of SCA.
