Tow/haul i.e. cruise control will hold speed down like mentioned in previous post. Don't go down the grade any faster than you went up. Let all those little cars fly by. Use your 4 way flashers when moving much slower then the traffic flow. Once you are below about 45 mph tow/haul will really slow you down. When rpm builds to about 5000 I use the brakes firmly to slow quickly, then release brakes and let engine do the work. Repeat the process as necessary every few miles. If you ride your brakes on mountain grades you will eventually run into real problems.
