Had read about Copilot App for smartphone/tablet on the forum. Would like to put it on our smartphone, but cannot find out how much memory it takes up. Their web site does not provide any detail, all it says is that you need sufficient memeory. Sent email to them, but have not gotten a reply. Have about 4gig availalble on phone. Does any one know what the memory requirememts are?? Thanks!

You can load up maps by region or the whole country. One think I recommend is to make sure your phone can load apps onto the sd card. I would recommend a minimum of 8gb card, which is the smallest you can get these days. . If you're unsure about being able to save programs to sThe SD card, download the trial.

I have the biggest 3 and it takes up about 1.7GB between SD and Tablet memory.

For those using the ap with a tablet, what device are you using for the gps antenna?

I'm using a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 (7" non-cellular) which has GPS capabilities. Total space used with the North America map is 2.11GB. 2.05GB is stored on the 32GB SD card with the rest on device memory. Blue Tooth to the dash radio and connects to the world thru my cell phone hot spot capabilities.Have only used the app and tablet in the car a few times but has worked pretty well. Should get lots of use in a few weeks when the temps warm up a bit more. I wanted a large screen GPS but couldn't get past the price of currently available devices. Using a low cost tablet ($160) that does more than just assist with navigation fit with my usage plans. Like multitasking stuff in the coach.

I am currently using my Samsung Note phone for the CoPilot, but I want to start using the DW's Samsung 7" Tab.

What holder is that you have your Tab in?
