My parents towed a Chevy Cobalt behind their Class C.. they were looking for very LOW weight toad, as their MH was only 24ft. They chose a blue ox aventa tow bar and a ready brake braking system. The brake was installed after the tow bar (GA didn't require brake for under 3000 lbs), but they felt like it was needed for safety. Between purchasing the two and having them installed, it cost them about $3000. Now I will say that the Cobalt installation of the tow brackets was more than some vehicles as it required pulling the whole front bumper/grill area off during installation. Some cars/trucks take much less work. so that will vary your costs some. I also think if they had both things done at the same time, there may have been a bit less labor also.
