- BobK53ExplorerWe had an awning blow off in a sudden wind storm last summer. I wish that the repair cost (for awning and frames) was as low as $1,200.

Arnaudville, LA - EMD360ExplorerGot a very similar quote from our local Camping World for a new 13' unit installed. Larger awnings are more expensive. We are going to see if we can fix ours with new material.
- OFDPOSExplorerNot sure how much a new electric awing would cost to have installed ? I don't like the manual ones' the arms sticks out away from the side and its just smack in the middle of your view down the right side in the mirror.
- fla-gypsyExplorerFor a complete new unit and install it doesn't seem like a bad price to me. I would not be without one.
- wbwoodExplorerWe like ours, especially on a hot summer afternoon if that side of the rig is facing towards the afternoon sun. It does cut down on the heat coming in, especially the window.
To us, it ads more living space, especially during some rain. As long as it's not a torrential downpour, we can still sit outside, eat, watch tv on the tv in the storage bay...
Would rather have it and not use it than not have it and wish I did... Of course you could always buy and ez up tent. But it will take up storage space and be a pain in the but to put up and take down... - JNortonExplorerOn the other hand I love setting under mine during a light rain storm. We use ours a lot.
- JbrowlandExplorerMy rental didn't come with one and I don't miss having one. I have yet to find the need for one and will likely never install one. Dif strokes for dif folks. More weight, more money and more failure points. El Monte will let you come back and install it for the same price later if you change your mind. Just a consideration.

Purchasing a 2005 Class C Fleetwood Jamboree 31 from El Monte Rv. They quoted us $1250 tax+fees (no charge on installation). Is that a fair price?
Yes it is a very fair price for the unit, I paid more an another place, plus the mechanics they have know the rig. - CloudDriverExplorerIf it's only to fabric that needs replacement, I did it myself in the driveway with a little help from DW for a cost of $155.

Just the fabric install or a complete unit removal and install?
Brand new, the rig doesn't come with one.
