My wife and I were planning on doing our floor as well. We were weighing heavily on the ALLURE flooring, due to weight restriction; however after talking to the HD associate we have opted for 'roll' vinyl wood look alike. He (the associate) said that ALLURE is really not recommended for any temp below 55-we live in north Georgia and we regularly get below that.
I have opted to have a professional install as my measurements are often times not what I thought I measured..... It is to be installed within the week, and we are anxiously awaiting as we will be taking a trip very shortly.
