New to RV's...can I just blow the lines out and be done or is it advisable to pump RV AF through the system also?
Good news is Northern Kentucky doesn't get that cold or stay that cold for that long. I know, you may disagree, but it's true when you're on the northern boarder.
With that said, I'll give you some personal experience and let you decide what you want to do.
Last winter my neighbor asked me to help him with his TT. I opened up the low points and the valves. I then put compress air to it and nothing came out. That was how good his TT plumbing was designed.
My 5'ver I put compress air to it and blow all the water out of it. The first year I then used pink stuff via the pump. Only pink stuff came out.
My Class A I would blow the lines clear, then run pink stuff. About 1-2 cups of clear water would come out of the toilet before the pink stuff would show. I'm guessing if all I did was air, I would have had issues.
All RV's are different, and the opinions on this forum will also be based on their location. Who would you trust more on this topic? Someone from Texas or Manitoba?
